Welcome to Ecole Tricolore!

Ecole Tricolore is a non-profit organisation offering French classes to francophone and bilingual children.

The school opened in 2012 and is part of the FLAM schools network (http://www.associations-flam.fr) supported by the AEFE (Agency for the teaching of the French Language Abroad) and the French Embassy.

Its mission is to promote the practice of French, as a spoken and written language, and to enrich the knowledge of the francophone culture.

The school is mainly addressed to the French-speaking community in the South-East area of London and border of Kent and consists of:

  • A Saturday School in West Wickham, from 9.00am to 12.15pm, for children aged between 3 and 15 years old;

  • An After-School Club in Bromley, on Wednesdays from 4.30pm to 6.00pm, for children aged between 5 and 11 years old.

The choice of the level of the class will not only depend on the age of the child but also on the ability to fully understand and speak the language. The child will be assessed during a trial session.

Most of our pupils come from a multilingual background with at least one francophone parent.

The Saturday school and after-school Club are also open to children who have the ability to understand and express themselves in French because they spent a significant time in a French speaking country and/or have been educated in a French speaking school.

At Ecole Tricolore, our team is eager to teach the children in a relaxing and fun learning environment.
